Do you take equity?
No. We don’t take any equity from your company. Scale SEE is focused on helping you succeed, not owning a piece of your business.
What stage should my startup be at?
We’re looking for startups that are already generating some revenue (even if it’s small) and are ready to scale to the US market. Pre-revenue startups are typically not a fit.
Do I need to be based in Southeast Europe?
Yes. Scale SEE is specifically designed for B2B startups from the Southeast Europe region looking to expand to the US market.
What happens after the 12 weeks?
You’ll have ongoing access to our network, continued advisory support from any mentors you’ve worked with, and the Scale SEE community for life. Many Batch #1 companies still meet monthly with their advisors.
Is this remote or in-person?
It’s hybrid. The 12 weeks of workshops are remote/virtual. Then we have an intensive in-person immersion in Belgrade, followed by the RiSEE Summit. The top performer also wins a trip to San Francisco.
How much does it cost?
There’s no cost to apply or participate. We don’t charge fees and we don’t take equity. Our goal is to help build the Southeast European startup ecosystem.
